FeedKing of Fighters XII roster revealed

Well, I know ONE fellow Gamerblag member will be raging about this bit of news, but as it is, I’m currently raging too.
The full roster of the upcoming King of Fighters XII has already been announced, and as you can see from the picture above, one specific character is missing. One who’s always been a staple of the series, and definitely recognizable no matter where she gets to. Athena? Generic schoolgirl. Kim Kaphwan? Generic korean badass (although one of my favorite characters). But where the fuck is my fan-throwing, fanservice-drooling, cleavage-bouncing titty-monster MAI? OR YURI? OR WHIP FOR THAT MATTER?
They better be unlockables, Playmore. They’d better be.

This couldn’t be the final roster; Kim and Iori are teamless, although they are often the loner types heading up some last minute team just to enter the tournament.
But yes, where all the women? Kula, Momoko, Elisabeth, Yuri? Who cares about Athena or even Mai for that matter, where’s my red-headed Vanessa? Where’s K’ even?
At least Andy and Joe are back. Raiden was an interesting choice over my Falcon Luchedore friend, but it’s nice to see him. Thank God Chin’s back!
Mai isn’t a big deal, to reiterate; she was also left out of XI.

If I were the God-Emperor of the Earth, I would have a law. That law would be called “Geese’s Law”. It would state that each SNK game would need to have at least 4 playable versions of Geese Howard before it could be published.

Meh. That is all I can say, because despite the purty sprites I’m just too disappointed over this sorry roster to even rant.

Mai sucks. Only thing she’s good for is fanservice.
I’m more surprised at the lack of new charaters. I mean, at least SFIV has some new flavors in their roster. I wonder if SNK is simply keeping with the favorites or something?
I do like Kensou’s new look though.
