Diaries of a Game Development Student (1st Entry)
by Spider-X on Feb.06, 2009, under Opinions, Rant, Site Stuff

Greetings fellow crab-people. This month marks my second month at Full Sail University, one of the top schools in video game design and development. It has been my dream since the days of the Super Nintendo to create video games. Of course, back then I assumed we’d still be playing the Super Nintendo to this day. While the technology has changed, my dreams and ambitions have not. (continue reading…)
Club Nintendo's Game and Watch Collection Review
by Seanpk21 on Jan.25, 2009, under Nintendo DS, Old but Awesome, Opinions, Review
Since I was lucky enough to register 400 dollars worth of Nintendo games, I’ve decided to review this Club Nintendo reward because most of you probably do not have it. Let me tell you, it was worth it. Previously only available in Japan as part of their Club Nintendo, this game was hard to come by. However, with Nintendo debuting Club Nintendo here in the “Americas”, we now have a chance to play it. Ordering the game requires 800 points on the CN (as I will refer to it from now on) website. This turns out to be roughly 400 dollars, if you registered only Wii games.
The Game and Watch Collection contains three G&W games:
- Oil Panic
- Donkey Kong
- Green House
Play the full Banjo Kazooie Arcade game for free!
by Metroid0070 on Jan.18, 2009, under Arcade, N64, xbox 360

Okay, I discovered this by accident. It’s how to play the full Banjo game from the trial.
Step 1: Get into Spiral Mountain
Step 2: Go to the giant Ape and make him hit all 3 orange tiles. Make sure the one furtherest away from the tree stub with the monkey is hit LAST. DON’T GET THIS JIGGY YET.
Step 3: Get the orange from Ape’s tree, and give it to the monkey on the tree stub. GET THIS JIGGY.
Step 4: Go to the mole hill above the tree stump, learn how to egg attack, and beat the Ape. A Jiggy will fall.
Step 5: If done correctly, the 2 Jiggys will be right next to each other. Jump right in the middle of them. You should collect 2 Jiggys at the same time, extending the trial.
TRY IT OUT. The only thing you can’t do is save.
Fallout 3 – Reviewing for Post-Apocolyptia
by Peter on Dec.26, 2008, under Consoles, PC, PS3, Review, xbox 360
If you haven’t heard of the Fallout series then you’re really out of touch with the PC gaming world. Welcome to the present! Have an assault rifle. Anyhow, There’s been a lot of static about Fallout 3 since it was announced, most of it came from No Mutants Allowed, or NMA, which are a group of Fallout fanboys that were brought to tears upon hearing Bethesda was developing Fallout 3. NMA was afraid that Bethesda would tinker the formula that Black Isle (the original developers of the Fallout series) had made. To be clear, Fallout was an instant classic for it’s dark humor and dynamic gameplay and brought you different endings based on how you played. Does Bethesda live up to the previous Fallout games, and if it does, is it a good game? Let’s see. (continue reading…)
How Whiners Destroy Games
by Mellow on Dec.09, 2008, under MMO, PC, PS3, Rant, Wii, xbox 360

Everybody who has played any online game and has visited its forums, knows the problem. Whiners. There is always a group that whines about how something is too strong, this skill is too weak, this quest is too hard, this gun is too accurate. No matter how much you enjoy the game, they will always find something to whine about. In reality, these whiners deal more damage than you may think.
