I agree, except use the classic controller held sideways instead of the nunchuk. The nunchuk sucks.

RTS is a bad on the Wii because the pointer is so bloody imprecise.

No-one wants Starcraft because no-one would buy it. Maybe Starcraft II.

I mean, come on. The First Person Shooter, what looks like the most glaringly obvious game to make, has only been truly been mastered in one or two games.

By the time developers can truly harness the power of the Wii, it'll be reaching the end of it's life cycle.

The Wii is craving for more games in genres normal controlers wouldn't work as good with.

The Wii is craving for more First-Person Shooter games.
The Wii is craving for more Real-Time Strategy games.

But let's not forget that motion control does not a good game make, and as long as I have fun with the games I'm playing, I don't complain.

I could definetly see this work. As stated before the only problem that seems to stick out would be the inability to map certain keys to certain commands.

It's an interesting concept, for sure.
Another issue that may be solved through this, one in which i've encounted several times in starcraft is the skill gap between new players and the dedicated pros that currently play the game. If it was moved to the Wii, it may even up the playing field slightly, in that even the most experienced players will have to come to grips with a new control system, which means that the new players will have time to sort of 'catch up' with the experts. One other issue that may inhibit the popularity of the game would be the lack of binding groups of units to keys on a keyboard, but i'm sure the players would find their ways of going about things.
